Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of DevOps Middleware Engineer (multiple positions) in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Implement, integrate, and provide support for middleware software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment;
  2. Install, configure, automate, and support middleware solutions;
  3. Configure and tune application server parameters for optimal system performance;
  4. Plan capacity of middleware platforms and implement capacity increases as needed;
  5. Document designs, configurations, and work plans;
  6. Coordinate middleware tasks with systems that use middleware and were built using SpringBoot, and AMQ;
  7. Engage with software engineering (development), network, infrastructure, DBA, and business stakeholders to design, implement and support the applications.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:

  1. Configuration management and automation tools: Ansible, Bamboo, GitHub, Jenkins;
  2. Executing scripts and performing troubleshooting on Linux and Unix;
  3. Apache, Bash, DevOps, J2EE, JVM, SpringBoot, IBM MQ/AMQ, and WebSphere.

This position is with Elavon, Inc., a U.S. Bank company.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $127,504.00 - $140,100.00.
