Lead Electrical Engineer

I need a Lead Electrical Engineer that comes from an Electrical Engineering background and has moved into a lead role and still has the technical skills but is looking to leverage those skills to lead a team in the design of cutting edge systems. Here are some of the skills I am looking for. For the right candidate the client is willing to offer a relocation package.

Top 3 Must Haves:

• Experience designing/leading the product development of electronic systems they put in space
• Experience in design, analysis, firmware, FPGA design of circuit boards, circuit board assembly, knowing those detailed elements
• Must have good soft/interpersonal skills. This person will be a liaison between Engineering and the customer. Somewhat like a Sales Engineer, where they will be responsible for being the in between from our client to the end client, and be able to speak with both technical and non technical end users/stakeholders.

Standards:

Should have experience with SPACE VPX / Vita 78 Standards

Some of the technologies they will oversee the use of

(This person will lead a team of 5-7 Engineers doing this type of work, but will not necessarily be hands on themselves)

• Altium
• MATLAB
• Firmware Design
• VHDL
• Verilog
• Hardware scripting languages
