We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our ML engineering team to support our rapid client growth and projected expansion in the year ahead. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in the construction and maintenance of full-stack ML infrastructure tools, as well as managing the ML engineering team.


Responsibilities:

  1. Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of ML engineers.
  2. Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of MLOps infrastructure.
  3. Establish and refine internal standards for a scalable ML platform.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ML infrastructure needs, including model training, deployment, serving, and monitoring.
  5. Guide team members, set direction, and ensure timely delivery of features.
  6. Evaluate and recommend ML technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Set the roadmap, direction, and priorities for the ML team, aligning with company goals.

Requirements:

  1. 6+ years of experience in building ML full lifecycle infrastructure.
  2. 2+ years of experience in a management role.
  3. Proven success in leading high-performing ML teams.
  4. Proficiency with ML platforms and MLOps tools.
  5. Experience with orchestration and pipelining tools like Metaflow.
  6. Expertise in building and maintaining training compute platforms.
  7. In-depth knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
  8. In-depth knowledge of the ML full lifecycle.
  9. Strong track record as an individual contributor.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience in early-stage startups.
  2. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
  3. Background in healthcare-related projects or data.

Compensation Range: $170K - $210K
