Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an AWS Cloud DevOps as a Service professional. In this role, you will be responsible for providing DevOps services and expertise to our clients on the AWS cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage robust and scalable DevOps solutions that enable efficient software delivery and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective DevOps strategies and solutions on the AWS platform.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using industry best practices and AWS services, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS infrastructure and applications by implementing appropriate monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and facilitate efficient software delivery processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner, working closely with development and operations teams.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of AWS resources.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and AWS services, and provide recommendations for process improvements and tooling enhancements.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working in a DevOps role, with a focus on AWS cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and technologies, such as Git, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools, such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification.
- Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures on AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of security best practices in AWS.
