Mainframe Developer

Role name: Developer Role Description: ? Work with the business team and application team to understand the requirements ? Work in the Agile methodology (SCRUM, KANBAN)? Collaborate with the team to work on developing new features? Participating in High level design session and collaborating with Business on the best practices and solutions that maximize the client needs Competencies: Mainframe DB2 - Application Development, IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_DB2 Administration Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: 6+ years of experience as Mainframes developer ? Demonstrated track record of strong database analysis, data access design and implementation capabilities? Demonstrated proficiency in COBOL and DB2, including:- Structured Query language (SQL)- Embedded SQL- Stored Procedure development- DB2 Batch Programming (Large/Small) ? Proficiency with EasyTrieve Intermediate to advanced understanding and knowledge of DB2 relational database and its constructs including creating and using a Physical Model ? Working knowledge of DB2 associated tools:- BMC, InsyncJCL ISPF/TSO Performance tuning Knowledge and experience with MQ Series Desirable Skills: 6+ years of experience as Mainframes developer ? Demonstrated track record of strong database analysis, data access design and implementation capabilities?
