Job Title: Product Support Engineer

Location: Hybrid onsite in Westborough, Massachusetts

Position Type: Long-term contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Product Support Engineer who excels in troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills, and is experienced with Linux.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support to software teams, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability.
3. Identify opportunities to prevent potential problems and implement solutions based on lessons learned.
4. Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of technical support experience for software teams.
2. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
5. Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
6. Containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with machine learning, computer vision, or related technologies such as video streaming and processing.
2. Familiarity with hardware qualification and testing processes.
3. Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
4. Understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, Websockets).
5. Programming with Java/C++.
