Job Title: Product Support Engineer
Location: Hybrid onsite in Westborough, Massachusetts
Position Type: Long-term contract
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Support Engineer who excels in troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills, and is experienced with Linux.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to software teams, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability.
- Identify opportunities to prevent potential problems and implement solutions based on lessons learned.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of technical support experience for software teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
- Containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning, computer vision, or related technologies such as video streaming and processing.
- Familiarity with hardware qualification and testing processes.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, Websockets).
- Programming with Java/C++.
