System EngineerFairfax County, VAOn-site Full-time Mid-Senior levelPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled Momentum Systems Engineer with expertise in Linux and OpenShift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining robust systems that support CGI's Momentum Financial ERP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Federal ERP System.Key Responsibilities:Install, deploy, and manage RHEL Linux-based environmentsResolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.Implement and optimize containerized applications using OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.Collaborate with software development teams to ensure system performance and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environmentDocument system configurations, processes, and best practices.Perform Systems Administrator and Oracle Database Administration functions as requiredMust have Qualifications:US CitizenshipBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.7+ years of technical experience in system design, development and production support of large applications/systems.Strong proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, etc.).Hands-on experience with OpenShift.Technical experience with CGI Momentum Federal Financials ERP software.Linux server system administration experience.Experience with RedHat Ansible and OpenShift.Ability to obtain CASP or CISSP certification within six months.Desired Qualifications:Current or past Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.Current CASP or CISSP certificationWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageFree Medical, Dental, Vision, and STD/LTD/Life insurance3% non-contributory 401K
