Description
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, to work on cutting-edge solutions for complex issues. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for engineering functions related to the design and development of hypersonic manufacturing systems, including component compliance, process compliance, non-conformance identification and reporting, and Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing non-conformances and corrective actions for TPS
- Supporting quality metrics and trending
- Conducting quality inspections and utilizing methods such as Blue Light Scanning
- Reviewing customer-specific flow downs and terms and conditions to ensure conformity within processes
- Coordinating with engineering and production to monitor companywide metrics
- Developing quality-related procedures and work instructions
- Communicating with customers to determine nonconformance disposition and corrective action plans
- Performing investigation and root cause analysis to drive process improvements
- Generating quality documentation including inspection reports, CAR's, SCAR's RFW's and NCR's
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years' experience in Quality Engineering under an AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, and at least 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required. Active Secret clearance is necessary.

- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with SPC
- GD&T knowledge
