CGI is seeking a creative and innovative Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-paced and groundbreaking Agile team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled team on the latest technologies, shaping their career with matured agile project delivery and sophisticated Tech stack processes.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects that impact millions of users worldwide. From designing and implementing intuitive user interfaces to optimizing backend systems for performance and scalability, you'll have a hand in every aspect of the development lifecycle.
This excellent opportunity can be performed in Bloomfield, CT or Raleigh, NC.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers.
- Follow engineering standard methodologies and take pride in it.
- Participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies.
- Applications Development: Analysis, Design, Development, Testing.
- Support: QE Testing, Volume Testing, Implementation, Warranty, Team Members.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 8+ years of experience in Full Stack Engineering practice - Designing, developing, deploying & testing.
- Experience in NodeJS, TypeScript, AngularJS, Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate.
- Strong experience with Oracle/SQL, NoSQL.
- Experience with container management software (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Experience with AWS services like - S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, Step Functions.
- Experience delivering APIs with NodeJS or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of TDD with at least unit test automation.
- Experience with CICD tools - GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,800 - $165,200.
