Role : Kafka Developer
Location: 101, Pine Street, San Francisco, CA 94111, Onsite
Duration : Full-time
Exp: 12+
Details of the role / application, as appropriate:
Over 12 years of experience in building, re-architecting and refactoring of the Java codebase for critical applications. Python experience is a plus.
Over 5 years of working experience in Kafka (Consumption, publishing and streaming) architecture and integrations.
Over 3 years of working experience in Spark with Scala and processing of streamed data from Kafka.
Significant knowledge and working experience in Java concurrency modules and multi-threading implementations of critical applications in production.
Experience in migration of Java code from JDK 7 to 8 and/or 11 or later versions
Very good understanding of RDBMS (Oracle) and data warehouse (Vertica) as programmer to optimize the performance of complex queries.
Significant experience in writing Junit for Java code coverage
Significant experience in containers and micro services life cycle
Significant experience in Spring modules, maven build scripts etc.
Knowledge of Drools based rules engine.
Some experience in UI development and building contract for RESTful API in backend.
Knowledge of Hazelcast or distributed caching frameworks
Basic Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
