Senior Engineer, Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Locations: New York, NY (4 Days a week in office)
Job Overview:
Seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to expand and enhance their Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions to ensure secure and compliant access to systems and data. The successful candidate will work closely with IT and security teams, taking on a hands-on, tactical approach to IAM processes and integration.
Reporting to: Identity and Access Management Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Custom Development: Design and develop custom workflows and solutions within the IAM platform, enhancing functionality and automating processes.
Solution Management: Implement and manage IAM systems, including provisioning, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management.
Integration: Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate IAM solutions across various systems and applications.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor IAM systems, addressing security and access issues while performing regular audits to ensure compliance.
Technical Support: Provide full technical support to users and stakeholders regarding IAM processes and tools.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on emerging IAM trends and technologies to ensure BAM’s solutions remain cutting-edge.
Hands-On Responsibilities:
SailPoint IIQ Expertise: Act as the SailPoint IdentityIQ subject matter expert, providing guidance on platforms, integrations, and IAM processes.
Solution Consultation: Serve as a consultant within to provide IAM solutions and resolve issues as needed.
Custom Development: Build custom solutions for specific IAM requirements, ensuring a robust and secure environment.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM processes for transparency and training purposes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on development experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Strong understanding of IAM technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Proficient scripting skills in Java, PowerShell, and SQL (Python experience is a plus).
Technical Skills: Strong technical background with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Bonus Qualifications:
Certifications:
Certified SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer or Architect.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CIAM (Certified Identity and Access Manager).
Cloud Experience: Experience working with cloud-based IAM solutions and environments.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with AD, Exchange, Okta, Azure/Entra ID, O365, and Excel.
