VMware Engineer

Pennant Solutions Group is hiring for a VMware Engineer in the Columbia, MD area. Candidates must have a TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, 10+ years of experience, and a Security+ certification.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Extensive experience in VMware administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, migration, etc.
2. Monitoring on ESX servers and patching of ESX servers.
3. Vsphere backup/restoration.
4. Install and configure components in VMware environment.
5. Server consolidation for HW reduction.
6. Conduct audits.
7. Resolve hardware/software issues.
8. Evaluate vendors.
9. Respond to system and security alerts.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 10+ years of experience required.
2. Must have Security+ Certification.
