Our client in Cresson, PA is searching for a CNC Programmer to add to their manufacturing team.
Job Description:
- Program parts for CNC vertical mills, measuring and loading tool data, first part setup, troubleshooting, and assisting operators to ensure smooth production flow
- Program parts for CNC vertical mills, focusing primarily on 3-axis operations with 4th and 5th axis capabilities
- Assist operators with any production hold-ups or challenges
- Troubleshoot any programming or machine issues to minimize downtime
- Perform first part setups to ensure quality and efficiency
- Measure and load tool data accurately
- Organize and plan time effectively to reduce downtime at CNC machines
- Designing and determining need for fixturing
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience programming CNC vertical mills with 3-axis, 4th, and 5th axis capabilities
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming software and tooling
- Good understanding of how CNC vertical mills function
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
