Facilities Engineer

Direct the facilities operations and maintenance at each site including but not limited to: engineering, central plant, fire protection/life safety, security, telecommunications, conference center, cafeteria, O&M, ground services, construction, renovations, and custodial. Provide technical support to site operations.

Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures.

EXPERIENCE

1. 8-10 years of experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
2. Significant focus on mechanical or electrical engineering.
3. Professional certification/registration.
4. Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g., LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000).
5. Experience providing high quality customer service.
6. Experience building and sustaining high performing integrated teams.
7. Experience in managing O&M, construction/renovation projects.
8. Experience planning and implementing large-scale capital improvement.
9. Experience/familiarity with Power Plant design/high voltage system operations.
10. Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics.
11. Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) concepts of operation, and electrical generation procedures.
12. Knowledge of US Government exercise or crisis management communities and experience planning, coordinating and executing support to special events.
13. Familiarity with 24/7 operational environment.
14. Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required.
