Description

The ideal engineer for this role is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative team charged with exploring an uncharted and rapidly evolving domain. You will take an active role in shaping the quality of our SDK and Tools that are used for internal and external applications using emerging new technologies. You will be deeply integrated with our development engineers, developing test plans, writing API qualifying test apps, and supporting design reviews. This role requires strong programming fundamentals to help develop in all phases of the release cycle. Responsibilities include defining and implementing the test cases, monitoring test results, bug filing, coordinating test qualification with cross-functional teams, and reporting. You should be able to identify gaps in the existing test coverage, recommend or add test cases to address them, and ensure they are resolved with a long-term perspective. This position requires a self-motivated and dynamic individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a cross-functional team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient in API test development and familiarity with iOS app development and/or game development and game engines, i.e. Unity or Unreal.
  • Knowledge about computer graphics and rendering.
  • Exposure to augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) applications.
  • Understanding of software testing and QA methodologies and able to develop/execute software test plans.
  • Good communication skills and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Organized problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time 3D graphics.
  • Experience in automating tests for Applications at both the UI and non-UI levels.
  • Proficiency in systems programming (e.g., Objective-C, Swift, C/C++).
  • Knowledge of Dashboards, Apple Platform development using Xcode, XCUITest, and Swift preferred but not required.
