Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Software Test Engineer sought by DISH Network L.L.C. in Englewood, CO.
Design, create, and maintain automation test scripts. Design and build automation frameworks. Provide technical leadership and mentorship around testing, automation, and frameworks. Develop test plans. Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress. Review the test plans and test coverage including scope definition, resource identification, risks, and schedule. Lead requirements and test design/case reviews, perform test case reviews with other team members. Represent the test team in project status meetings and communicate issues appropriately. Compile and analyze metrics on testing activities and generate testing status reports during the testing phase. Create and distribute daily/weekly status reports to management.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered, similar role, or software quality assurance role. Also requires 5 years of post-baccalaureate work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Testing methodologies including agile model.
- Testing tool sets such as ReadyAPI, Rally, Selenium, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- SQL or other database query tools.
- Knowledge of programming language(s) including Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, and automation frameworks.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $130,686.00/Year - $130,686.00/Year.
