Job Requirements / Description

Responsibilities:

Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.
Design and develop SSRS / SSIS / SQL ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems.
Build data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files and moving data from one database platform to another. Build reports using SSRS.
Debug and tune SSIS, SSRS, or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data.
Design, implement, and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, etc.) and database security.
Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations.
Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.
Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications.
Proven experience as an SSIS, SSRS Developer or similar role.
Very good experience in SSIS, SSRS.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in development using PowerBI or Tableau will be advantageous.
Good problem-solving skills and able to multi-task in a challenging technical environment.
Good system knowledge relating to Data Warehousing, BI, and Regulatory Reporting.
Familiar with SQL Server installation and configuration, able to analyze and fine-tune SQL Query performance.
Experience in production support and attending to incidents and resolving user queries.
Can contribute individually and collaborate well in a team.
Responds with speed and flexibility.
