CNC Machinist IV

As a CNC Machinist IV (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you'll be responsible for the setup and operation of 3 – 5 axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision metal parts and materials. You'll determine dimensions and tolerances of material for machining, sequence operations, and use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy. You'll also participate in continuous improvement activities and proactively identify opportunities to enhance machining processes and efficiency.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Vocational training or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of previous CNC machine setup and operation experience. Mazak Mill/Turn experience required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, perform shop mathematics, GD&T, and Feeds & Speed calculations. Knowledge of machines, controllers, and tools (Fanuc or Mazak).
