Junior Web Developer

Hi, we're Response and we're looking for a web developer to join our team!

Outside of the skills and requirements listed below, we're looking for someone who thinks strategically and wants to understand the full picture before diving right into code.

Requirements:

1. Writing semantic, well formed, and reusable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
2. Converting Design files into code
3. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors
4. Knowledge of Webpack, Vite or other Build pipelines
5. Custom theme development for CMS (Wordpress, Webflow, etc)
6. Knowledge of MVC and JS frameworks - Laravel, Vue, Nuxt
7. ACF Knowledge
8. Experience using CLIs / Terminal
9. Working experience with GIT
10. The ability to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving
11. Examples of your Code is mandatory. Please describe in detail your involvement with the project(s) and the parts you are most proud of

You Have:

1. Ability to hand code JavaScript without the use of libraries/frameworks
2. Responsive Design development experience
3. Experience with Yarn and Package managers
4. The ability to communicate a plan before starting to code
5. A passion for what you do and high standards for your work

It Would Be Nice If You Have:

1. Working knowledge of building applications that require Facebook / Twitter OAuth / API integrations
2. Experience with Node / Nuxt
3. Knowledge of Wordpress plugin development
4. Some skills in Photoshop and Figma
