We are seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer for a sophisticated luxury hotel near Stamford, CT with over 500 rooms. This property has a history of leadership in the area, offering fine accommodations, gourmet dining, and a relaxing spa. The position is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who is seeking the opportunity to run their own department within a couple of years. Candidates with the ability to create a strong culture with a family atmosphere will be ideal for the role. Base Salary: $90,000 to $100,000, bonus, medical insurance, 401k, PTO and more!
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in the resort, hotel, hospital or multi-family housing industry.
- At least 3 years in the #2 position within your company.
- Experience in leading a maintenance team of at least 5 individuals.
- History of sound financial management.
- Focus on the importance of systems and procedures.
- Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.
- Proven success in creating a positive work environment that respects and rewards the staff.
