We have an immediate need for a Senior Substation Designer in the Metro Atlanta, GA area.Summary:Prepare documents such as drawings and bills of materials which are used to build, operate and maintain electric power substations.Job Duties & Responsibilities: Protection & Control Design:Development of single and three line diagrams.Development of schematics and wiring diagrams for major substation equipment as well as auxiliary equipment such as AC and DC distribution panels and various junction boxes.Develop bill of materials, SCADA point assignment sheets and cable pull lists.Required:Must have 7 to 10 years of CAD design experience preferably in the electric utility industryGood communication skills and demonstrated skills in CAD drafting techniques and applications.Excellent attention to detailAbility to multi-taskPreferred:Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university. *A combination of education and a demonstrated related experience may be substituted in lieu of education requirements.Location: Atlanta, GADuration: PermanentSalary: $78-$87KIf you are interested or would like more information on this position, please click the apply button or contact me directly at:
