Senior Financial Systems Developer

We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Developer to play a pivotal role in optimizing our financial systems architecture, leading OneStream projects, and developing innovative solutions to meet our complex financial modeling needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize OneStream Architecture : Lead the end-to-end design for seamless data integration and optimal performance.
• Project Management : Oversee OneStream projects from inception to completion, following best practices in project lifecycle methodology.
• Metadata Governance : Develop and maintain effective processes within OneStream, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• User Experience Enhancement : Design and implement OneStream functions and enhancements to improve user experience and facilitate change management.
• Documentation and Training : Prepare comprehensive design and training materials to enhance team capabilities and support project testing and production releases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, technology-driven solutions for financial planning and reporting.
• Custom Solutions Development : Create custom business rules, advanced cube views, dashboards, and reporting packages to address complex financial modeling challenges.
• Technical Support : Troubleshoot implementation issues, provide ongoing technical maintenance, and support stakeholder operations.
• Stay Updated : Keep abreast of the latest developments in OneStream technology, including Machine Learning and GenAI.
• Effective Communication : Translate technical concepts into layman’s terms and tailor the level of detail to the audience.

Scope and Supervision:

• Management Communication : Raise concerns to the appropriate level of management and keep them informed of activities.
• Issue Resolution : Present management with recommendations for resolving key complex issues.
• Operational Efficiency : Maintain an efficiency mindset when developing and enhancing financial data models.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certifications : OneStream Certified Professional - Lead Architect or Associate in Administration.
• Experience : 4+ years in data modeling, financial analysis, and system operations. Minimum 3 full Planning lifecycle implementations with OneStream.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, AWS architecture and services, Excel, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
• Communication Skills : Ability to convey technical concepts in easily understandable terms.
• Teamwork and Independence : Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a remote setting, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Leadership and Innovation : Capable of communicating the importance of technical proficiency in OneStream and related technologies, and the ability to collaborate, lead, and innovate within a financial modeling context.
