Job SummaryThePresalesSolutions Engineer- Securitywill work asa customer-facingsecurity expert. Theywill take a consultative approach to security projectsand have aholisticunderstanding ofhow security technology enables business. If you join our team, you’ll enjoy:Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family.World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive – in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesIncludes but not limited to:Leadingclientengagements and assessments including:ScopingFollowing anindustry-standardmethodologyReporting findingsContinuously improving penetration testing processesDeliveringdetailed reports and leadingdebriefing calls with clients to discuss vulnerabilities discovered during engagements, as well as offer remediation and mitigation options.Learning company Security services offerings and portfolio by self-study, partner training,andcompany-sponsoredtrainingCollaborating with multiple layers of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Directors,andSecurity Admin, to strengthen our overall customer relationship and better understand the goals andobjectivesthey are trying to achieveEducatingsales teams on Cyber Security solution selling and key technologies through 1x1 training, team training,and company trainingStayingcurrent onnew technology, trends,and market behavior by studying markettrendsand the industry landscapeEngaging in self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increasejob-relatedknowledge and skillsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience5+years’ experience in a technical cybersecurity role3+ years’ experience in Security Pre-Sales ConsultingRequired SkillsAbility to design security infrastructure including firewalls, endpoint, email, intrusion prevention/detection, identity, and event loggingGeneral understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CISExcellent presentation SkillsAbility to workeffectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyAttention to detail, organization, andfollow-upskills are criticalPossess a real passion for technologyExpert technical knowledge of Security SolutionsCertifications RequiredPreferredCISSP, Relevant GIAC Cert, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or Relevant Professional certifications in Cyber Security OEMsIf you do not have these certifications, it may berequiredwithin one year at SHI.Unique RequirementsTravel to client locationsrequiredup to 20%,for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences,and SHI offices.Extended hours arerequiredto complete some special projectsAdditional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
