As the Lead Visual Designer at dot.cards, you will be instrumental in defining and evolving our brand's visual language. Your role involves crafting impactful visuals that resonate deeply with our audience, driving brand engagement to new heights. We're seeking a Lead Visual Designer who combines artistic creativity with an innovative, unconventional approach — someone eager to push boundaries and bring fresh, imaginative ideas to our visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop and maintain a consistent and impactful brand identity across various touchpoints, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Design eye-catching graphics and visuals for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, promotional materials, and other brand assets.
  • Conceptualize and develop creative visual solutions to communicate brand messages effectively, while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Provide design support for events, trade shows, and internal initiatives.
  • Continuously research and monitor design trends and customer insights to inform and improve brand design strategies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather design requirements, present concepts, and iterate based on feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in brand design, graphic design, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects), and other relevant design tools.
  • Exceptional graphic design skills, including typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your brand design work and creative process.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in crafting visually striking motion graphics.
  • Proficiency in 3D design, capable of producing high-quality 3D models and animations.
  • Skilled in digital illustration, with an aptitude for creating detailed illustrations for digital platforms.
  • Strong in typography and layout design, effectively using these elements across various media formats.
