Title: Renewable Civil Engineer
Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States (On-site)
A national engineering consultancy is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer to work within their Renewable Energy team. With multiple offices across the country, the candidate will work on a hybrid schedule from a local site. Remote options are available in certain circumstances. Preference will be shown to candidates with E.I.T. or PE licenses and a background in renewable energy.
Responsibilities
Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs.
Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications.
Execute project based on outlined criteria.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
3+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting on Utility Scale Solar, Wind, BESS and Hydrogen sites
Experience with AutoCAD
Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
E.I.T or working towards a PE license
