Job Title: IT Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide valuable insights into the organization's data. The BI Developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and other IT professionals to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of BI projects.
Responsibilities:
1. MS SQL Development (Azure and On Prem) - Designing and implementing database schemas, writing and optimizing SQL queries, developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers, ensuring data quality and consistency, and collaborating with application developers to integrate database solutions effectively.
2. SSAS Development - Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) solutions, including designing, deploying, and managing OLAP cubes and tabular models.
3. ETL Development: Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
4. Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements for EDW.
5. Performance Optimization: Optimize queries and data processes to ensure efficient and timely access to information.
6. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, database administrators, and IT developers, to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
· Proficient in SQL, EDW, ETL processes, and data modeling.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
· Complete lifecycle EDW development in MS SQL server.
· Experience with Business Intelligence concepts and techniques.
· Experience with cloud-based BI solutions.
· Experience with SSAS development.
· Experience with ERP Data sources.
