In this role, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of residential developments, contributing to projects from concept to completion.What you'll do:Originate and review civil design documents, including design criteria, engineering studies and calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.Champion quality assurance by ensuring all designs meet relevant codes and industry standards.Identify and secure necessary permits for projects.Collaborate with other engineers and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.We're looking for someone with:A Bachelor's or Master's of Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred.3+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on residential developments.Working knowledge of multi-family developments, small to medium commercial sites, and institutional campus improvements a plus.Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Civil 3D experience strongly preferred.Proven experience in:Land development analysis, design, and construction management.Project lifecycles from concept to completion.Layout, grading, storm drainage network design, utility design, erosion control, road networks.Preparing specifications and construction documents.Permit submittal and review.Field inspections and investigations.The ability to independently apply code requirements and prepare technical reports.A strong understanding of industry trends and regulatory practices.Ready to leverage your skills and make a real impact?
