Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our Chicago Office. You would work with our team to run the day-to-day operations of our trading system. The expectation is that you would develop tools and processes responsible for improving, building, deploying, managing and monitoring a 23/6 high-frequency trading system.
Responsibilities
Provide real-time support, working with traders and other developers to diagnose and solve technical issues? Develop monitoring systems, tools, and processes to improve our system? Formulate procedures to increase system stability and uptime? Coordinate with developers and trading teams to deliver defect fixes? Work with developers and trading teams to develop and deploy new features
Qualifications
Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to find the root cause of an issue? Interest in understanding how and why things work, and how to make them better? Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment? Python programming experience? Proficiency with Linux operating systems? Helpful skills: Ansible , C++, webapp development (javascript, Django, etc), database NoSQL (redis), database SQL (postgres), familiarity with derivatives markets, professional software development experience? Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within a team? Detail oriented? Reliable and punctual? Flexible schedule
