A Day in the Life: What You’ll Do

Create the user experience for defined elements of lululemon Digital & Omni. Create deliverables that communicate problems and/or solutions to stakeholders using the appropriate tools, artifacts, and fidelity level for the audience/purpose. Define an end-to-end outfitting ecosystem, including providing guests with look recommendations. Craft designs from concept to final product in a collaborative environment, involving your agile product team, user research, A/B testing, design system, and other partners. Work closely with a Product Manager to create designs. Engage in discovery activities, including competitive analysis, user task and goals identification, journey maps, process flows, and user research in partnership with the UX Research team. Collaborate on problem definition with Product Management. Participate and assist in the facilitation of collaborative ideation sessions with cross-functional partners and leadership. Communicate design rationale to partners and stakeholders. Utilize and contribute components to UI libraries/design systems. Maintain UX documentation.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in User Experience or User Interface Design, User Centered Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field, and at least 2 years of experience in product design and user experience design in retail, eCommerce, omni-channel, or adjacent industries. Of the required experience, must have at least 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  1. User Centered Design methodologies;
  2. User testing, research, and/or UX writing;
  3. Creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity;
  4. Working with Accessibility requirements for web and mobile;
  5. Figma and Miro;
  6. Zoom;
  7. Jira and Confluence.

Must have a portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process skills in relevant, related, up-to-date subject matter with recent additions from the last 2 years.

Workplace Arrangement

Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Workplace Policy. In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $135,000.00 – $155,000.00 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
