Senior .NET Software Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attend daily stand-ups and grooming sessions with scrum teams/ARTs along with sprint planning.
- Ensure the assigned user stories are delivered defect-free.
- Work closely with tech leads/architects for any technical clarifications and drive the conversation.
- Coordinate with BAs and POs for functional clarifications.
- Work with SIT/UAT team for defect resolution and participate in triage calls.
- Coordinate with SRE teams for load testing and incident triage.
- Act as a single point of contact for the offshore team and work with them for any technical clarification and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with application development using C# language, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Visual Studio.
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience in Microsoft unit testing.
- Strong experience with end-to-end web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with concepts of MVC, Dependency Injection, and Entity Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Angular.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
