Job Title: DevOps Engineer with CouchBase

Location: Chicago, IL (Day-1 Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

1. 10+ years working in Information Technology
2. 4+ years running production systems on AWS
3. Experience with Datadog and site monitoring tools
4. Certified AWS SysOps Administrator a plus
5. Experience with TypeScript & JavaScript
6. Experience with DynamoDB, S3, and Cognito
7. Good understanding of Serverless and CloudFormation
8. Experience in Node, Cluster, AWS Native Service
9. Understanding of best practices for AWS, EC2, EKS, Couchbase, and monitoring of containers
10. Manages capacity planning, updates, upgrades, and internal integration
11. Responsible for administration of monitoring tools in the APM space
12. Coordinates with DevOps, Problem Management, etc. for escalations to support monitoring
13. Manages uptime, availability, and reporting
14. Mentor, educate, and train support personnel on how to use tools
15. Maintains knowledge on current technology by reading technology periodicals, evaluating new technologies, and attending trade shows, technical seminars, and training sessions
