Requirements

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
2. 5+ years of professional experience in various elements of full stack software development, including native mobile, web front end, back end, and hands-on coding experience in the past
3. Experience with a consumer-facing app and ecommerce or retail shopping
4. Hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and platforms
5. Previous knowledge of:

• Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Proven Software Development Experience And Android Skills Development

1. Experience translating wireframes into pixel-perfect views
2. Knowledgeable about animation and screen transitions
3. Have published at least one original Android app
4. Experience with Android SDK, Services, and various methods of background processing
5. Experience working with remote data via REST, JSON, Google Cloud Messaging, and the HTTP protocol
6. Experience with Google Play APIs: Maps, Location, and Cloud Messaging
7. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
8. Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (DDMS, MAT)
9. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
10. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and writing readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented code
11. Experience working with Kotlin, Coroutines, MVVM, MVVM Clean, View Models, Repository Design pattern, and other architectures
12. Experience working with an orchestration Layer and GraphQL
13. Experience operating in an Agile environment and using tracking tools like Jira
14. Experience with React Native a plus
