Mechanical Engineer

Aegis is looking for a mechanical engineer for a client of ours in the Chicago (60619) area. The ideal candidate has the following experience/skills-

Must Have:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• 4+ years of experience working as a mechanical engineer, project engineer- can play around with titles a bit here!
• Experience working in an industrial setting- they could come from Machining, Fabrication, Welding, Machine Design, or structural design work. This person could also come from the oil, gas, mining, or paper and pulp industry.
• Solidworks experience or AutoCAD Inventor
• Experience working in a hands-on environment.
• Project Management experience – this individual will be working on 2-3 projects at a time.
• Able to work within Microsoft Office

Plus’s:

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience working in a Steel Mill OR Forging Environment
• Someone that overseen or has experience with CAPEX projects
• PLC programming controls knowledge and anything electrical that is super technical is a plus
