Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Motivate and provide direction to the Process Technicians ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation
• Develop and maintain the process standards in which all parts are manufactured
• Review production and operating records and resolves technical processing issues
• Follow established action plans for processes out of range
• Specify project management and buy off of new equipment
• Manage exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability
• Motivate and train the mold setters, ensuring appropriate training and evaluation
• Verify and apply narrow ranges for optimum processes to meet customer expectations
• Manage exploration of new materials and processes in order to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability
• Compile data and analyze past and current information in order to assist in the preparation of the budget and reduce operational costs
• Work with tool shops for all tool repairs and maintenance
• Maintain documentation closely, following necessary timelines on specific projects
• Enforce safety rules daily

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Plastics / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering, Technology Degree or similar * Equivalent work experience may also be considered
• 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Injection Molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons
• At least 2 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
