As a software generalist on a small, efficient team, you will work closely with the entire company to improve our identity verification products and help keep our systems running smoothly. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Help design and build the next generation of our JSON APIs using Ruby and Postgresql.
• Help scale our existing systems to handle our increasing growth.
• Build tools to help improve our internal processes.
• Add functionality and refinements to our web dashboards.
• Propose creative solutions for improving our existing products and processes.

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of professional software development experience
• Experience with relational databases / SQL
• Strong generalist excited to work with a variety of tools
• Desire to work on a small team with a lot of autonomy

Preferred:

• 3-5 years professional software development experience
• Experience with Ruby
• DevOps experience
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React
• Experience building and scaling REST/JSON APIs
• Experience with Solr/Elasticsearch
