Contract Consultant - PAD Transformer
Duration: 3 to 6 months (possible extension)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Overview:
We need a PAD Transformer contract consultant to support our upcoming project. This person would start as soon as possible and will be working a 3 to 6 month contract with possible extension.
This person should have background with:
- Mfg process of assembly of oil-filled transformers
- Transformer specifications
- High voltage & magnetics including high-current bus bar, regulating and multi-tap transformers
- Detailed coil / winding construction and insulation design
- Cooling calculations
- Testing and validation requirements
- Overall tank lay-out and clearances, cable routing, etc.
- Rectifier duty and harmonics design
