As an IT Application Developer you will be instrumental in both supporting and transforming our existing IT application landscape for the Customer & Employee Domain. You will be responsible for the upkeep and development of existing IT tools, primarily using .NET, SQL, SSIS, and MicroStrategy technologies. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of future application ecosystem, utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, cloud-native applications, and other third-party vendor solutions. The role will be working with internal stakeholders to create and support business applications and will serve as the technical subject matter expert. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work near one of our manufacturing sites: Worcester, MA; Carol Stream, IL; Stephenville, TX; or Travelers Rest, SC.
- Provide comprehensive operational support for existing tools and systems, ensuring their maintenance and functionality. Collaborate with business owners and cross-functional teams to analyze, document and resolve complex application issues as well as translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the development of our future target solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and selecting appropriate technologies to meet the need.
- Lead the development and implementation of new applications, with ability to develop applications yourself and/or lead a team of developers (either internal or external) in an international context.
- Ensuring current and future systems align with Cybersecurity requirements.
Required Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
- 4 or more years of experience:
- Supporting large applications in domains such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance.
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, .Net, IIS Manager and SSIS.
- Developing Cloud Native Applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about technology solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment working on multiple projects with varying scopes and timelines.
Preferred
- Microsoft Power Platform Certifications
- 4+ years of experience supporting MicroStrategy, PowerBI or other BI Tools.
