Java Developer

Hybrid 3 days a week in office at a minimum based on scheduling

The candidate must have:

1. 7 to 9 years of experience as a developer
2. Expert-level experience in Java (8 or above) and object-oriented design and development
3. Hands-on experience of working with relational databases and development (SQL, Sybase)
4. Working knowledge of Unix bash scripting and/or Python
5. Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum)
6. Good with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
7. Financial Services industry experience will be considered an advantage

Skill Set:

Primary:

1. Java 8 or above, Gradle, REST, SOAP, Spring Boot, JDBC, Spring Batch
2. Database: Sybase or SQL Server, PL/SQL
3. Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code
4. Good SQL skills with experience in any of the RDBMS databases.
5. Experience with at least some of Spring, SOAP/RESTful, XML, JSON, ProtoBuf/Flat Buffers.
6. Experience with UNIX environments and scripting.
7. Experience with parallel/concurrent processing/multithreading, distributed, real time, grid compute a plus.
8. Experience with AWS computing a plus.

Good to have:

1. Scripting: Unix/Bash or Python
2. Agile methodology - Preferably Scrum
3. DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
4. Cloud hands-on experience - Public cloud: AWS
