Job Requirements / Description
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a seasoned AWS Cloud Engineer with proficiency with various AWS services (i.e. VPC, S3, EC2, WAF, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Expertise in AWS security included IAM (Identity and Access Management) .
- Expertise in Electric and Gas industry is desirable.
Required Skills:
1. AWS Services
2. Infrastructure as a code (IaaC), Cloud formation & Terraform
3. Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and tools
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify areas for improvement using AWS Cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design and implement AWS-based solutions to address business challenges, ensuring scalability and security.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects to aid in decision-making and resource allocation.
- Stay abreast of the latest AWS features and services to recommend innovative solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.
- Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, suggesting improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud security and data protection.
- Work closely with the IT team to integrate AWS solutions with existing infrastructure.
- Provide expert guidance on the strategic use of AWS to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on AWS Cloud technologies. - Proven track record of designing and implementing effective business solutions using AWS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and data protection strategies is essential.
- Experience in conducting cost-benefit analysis and making data-driven recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- AWS certification is highly desirable.
