Note: The individual will be expected to work in the office while onboarding and getting familiar with our process and procedures. After that time, they can work remotely.
Job Description:
- Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering
- Experience with analyzing steel connections.
Required Skills:
- Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient with MathCad and STAAD Pro
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge with ANSYS
- Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes
- Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required.
- Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public.
- Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing deadlines.
- Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to satisfactorily complete project documentation and to function effectively in a team environment.
Education:
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
