We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting on our Engineering team. You will be working closely with our team to support our new technology initiatives, including precision lab fixture assembly and alignment, and contributing to lab experiments.
Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies
- Currently pursuing a degree in electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- Comfort with basic laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering irons, signal generators, etc.
- Ability to perform schematic design, component specification, basic PCB layout, etc. Layout experience is nice to have but not required.
- RF skills and experience are nice to have, but not required.
- Aptitude for Mechanical design, nice to have, but not required.
- Basic python and Linux experience.
- BSME, BSEE or BSCS with a fundamental understanding of SolidWorks, and preferably metrology, nice to have, but not required.
- Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask.
- Cope well under pressure.
