Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the production team supporting continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have a practical and logical approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Plattsburgh, NY
Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000
What's the Job?
- Implement new product development and process improvements
- Ensure Manufacturing Processes meet customer requirements, including Special Process Validation
- Develop and Maintain Production Floor Layouts
- Determine and specify Tooling and Equipment required for ramp up or new programs, make recommendations, and determine ROI for Tooling and Equipment improvements
- Support the procurement of Tooling and Equipment and lead the commissioning on site
What's Needed?
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing engineering, electrical rotating equipment (motors/generators specifically) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Lean, 5S and Kaizen experience an asset
- Practical and logical approach to problem solving
- High energy, productive, personable, resourceful
