We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer based on the West Coast to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will understand customer requirements, articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, and provide pre-sales support to our sales team.

About the role:

  1. Technical Sales Support:
    1. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
    2. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
    3. Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, information security responses, and technical documentation.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact.
    2. Provide pre-sales support, including solution implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
  3. Product Feedback and Development:
    1. Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.
    2. Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to relay customer requirements and contribute to product roadmap planning.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in data/AI.
  3. Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset and startup experience are highly valued, such as having been a founder or technical leader at an early-stage company.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed.

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 a year

At Lamini, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $175,000 to $200,000, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and internal benchmarks.
