The Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This project offers the ability to work in an office/remote hybrid format with a team of highly-skilled engineers.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Secret Security Clearance or higher
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience with C++ and python programming languages
- Experience developing software for Linux environments.
- Experience with version control software (ex Git)
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Experience
- Experience working with M&S framework such as AFSIM, NGTS and ITASE
- Experience doing model development in C++.
- Experience with containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working in a Gitlab devops environment and dealing with items such as CI/CD, working across multiple projects, deploying code, writing and managing issues, epics and sprints
- Experience with CMake and building cross-platform solutions
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
