TrustedQA is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The candidate will work within a DoD Software Factory, utilizing Agile software processes to evolve requirements and solutions through test-driven development (TDD). A strong DevSecOps culture and approach are critical, driving feedback and coordination across the ICS development (DEV) and operations (OPS) portfolio while emphasizing both physical and cyber security (SEC). You will be part of a team responsible for delivering more reliable, stable, and secure products to the Navy’s fleet at an accelerated rate through the Government-furnished Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop APIs with a focus on quality and security.
- Code and test software for real-time systems, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Work within Agile software development processes in a DevSecOps environment.
- Utilize CI/CD processes and tools to streamline development and deployment.
- Collaborate within Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as MS Code, IntelliJ, and others.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in software engineering with a focus on:
- API design and development
- Coding and testing
- Languages: C++, Java, Golang
- Agile software development in DevSecOps environments
- CI/CD processes and tools
- Software development for real-time systems
- Working with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like MS Code, IntelliJ, etc.
- Clearance: Active (or eligible to obtain) Secret clearance.
- Location: Ability to work in College Park, MD or Dahlgren, VA, with hybrid remote work options.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time Combat systems.
- Background in Cyber Security.
