Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain software applications and support hardware interfaces in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies and test fixtures.
- Develop software applications with interfaces to hardware devices and instruments for control and data acquisition.
- Develop database applications targeting SQL server and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Perform software validation according to company quality policies.
- Complete software and hardware design reviews.
- Write manufacturing test procedures or work instructions.
- Interface with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Preventive Maintenance, Documentation & Design and PQE.
- Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Facilitate training and support of shop floor operators.
- Manage projects as assigned.
Required Skills And Knowledge:
- Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and editing of relevant technical documents.
- Proficiency in employing the latest industry techniques and practices.
- Highly experienced in object oriented software development and source control.
- Proficiency in developing multi-threaded applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET, C# and the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for desktop development.
- Proficiency in embedded programming on AVR and ARM microcontrollers.
- Familiar with SQL server database design and administration.
- Experience in all phases of software development life cycle such as requirement gathering and use case testing.
- Experience in developing hardware-software interfaces over Ethernet, RS232, and USB.
- Experience in using common test equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- Experience in reading and understanding electrical schematics.
- Experience in working with Windows Active Directory.
- Comfortable with debugging software bugs to the operating system and driver levels.
Typical Education And Experience:
- BS in Software Engineering (or related discipline) with 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience or MS in Software Engineering with 3-4 years of professional software engineering experience.

The base pay range for this position is Min $105,500 - Max $189,800. The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
