Job Overview:
GhangorCloud is seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing proactive measures to protect the company's data and infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and to address potential vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems, networks, and data to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Perform security risk assessments and vulnerability testing on both internal and external systems.
- Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and best practices.
- Respond to security breaches or incidents, conducting thorough investigations and providing actionable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security measures in system architecture and design.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to ensure a secure working environment.
- Maintain and manage security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in information security or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO).
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
