Position Role/Title: Software Engineer

Location: Arlington VA/ Washington, DC

Job Responsibilities

1. Advises on technology advancements and supports the development of enhancements at each iteration.
2. Integrate business processes with infrastructure and with stakeholders to produce technology that enables the workforce to support the mission.
3. Possess understanding of the systems development life cycle.
4. Experience with web technologies, application servers, portal servers, middleware, ecommerce, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance & scalability.

Mandatory Skills

Java or Pega - 2 Yrs

MySQL, APIs, CSS, and SOAP - Hands on

Preferred Skills

1. DevOPS Experience
2. JavaScript (front- or back-end) - 3+ Yrs experience
3. NodeJS - 3+ Yrs experience
4. ReactJS - 2+ Yrs experience
5. HTML and CSS - 2+ Yrs experience
6. AWS (SNS, ECS or Lambda experience preferred) - 1+ Yrs experience
7. MySQL, APIs, CSS and SOAP - On Hand
8. CI/CD - 1+ Yrs experience

Optional Skills

1. Experience with JPA / Hibernate
2. Experience with Spring Boot
3. Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
4. Experience with Apache Solr
