Job Description
The person in this position is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and monitoring the cloud-based services in production and pre-production environments. This person will also work with the Dev & QA teams to assist them with the development and testing infrastructure on the cloud in a timely fashion. More specifically, the person will:
- Be responsible for select Cinarra Products and Services
- Setup of the dev/testing infrastructure on cloud
- Following up on the assigned deployment/upgrade tickets
- Attend to production alerts in a timely manner (especially when on-call)
- Provide reasonable estimates for all deployment and troubleshooting requests and follow through on them to completion
- Work with the members of the Cinarra Engineering teams to support them in all their deployment and related troubleshooting needs
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Python, Shell scripting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Docker, Ansible/Chef, Kubernetes
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with CI, Jenkins, JIRA/Confluence, Github (actions)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Terraform, Prometheus/Zabbix/Datadog/etc.
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience with relational databases, key-value stores, and basic SQL
- Experience with virtual environments, AWS, and Linux OS
- Experience with or understanding of Nomad, Airflow is highly desirable
- Experience with or knowledge of Nginx, Kafka, ClickHouse, etc. is desirable
- Tools: GIT, Curl, and other diagnostic tools
- Good communication skills in English (minimum level - Upper Intermediate)
