You will be joining the company at an exciting time of growth. The Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programming role is a key member of the production team.


This role will be performed Onsite at our Macomb, MI facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze 2D prints and 3D models to develop and deploy Numerical Control (NC) programs for various 3 and 5-axis milling machine tools.
  • Collaborate in new product development process in the design and ramp up to production including design, CNC programming, and execution of first article production.
  • Troubleshoot and improve operations including but not limited to fixturing issues, CNC program and/or parameter issues, and expendable tooling issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build future capability for facilities, equipment, and workforce to ensure capacity meets business needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects such as cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Operation and Programming, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the design or manufacturing of indexable cutting tools is a plus.
  • Minimum of (5) years of production machining experience including programming and setup.
  • Experience designing, programming, and tooling for CNC machining in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
